Effective October 1, 2026
SpeakThis is a Kazobe app. This policy describes the app, its support pages, and information you choose to send to Kazobe.
SpeakThis creates speech on your Mac, iPhone, or iPad. After you choose to download a voice model, speech generation runs on your device. SpeakThis does not require an account, and Kazobe LLC does not collect your scripts, reference recordings, generated audio, or usage analytics through the app.
Model downloads
When you request a model download, SpeakThis connects directly to Hugging Face to retrieve model files. Hugging Face and its delivery providers may receive the network information ordinarily associated with that request, such as your IP address. The text and audio you use for speech generation are not sent with these download requests. Hugging Face's privacy policy describes its handling of information it receives.
Local files and sharing
SpeakThis stores downloaded models, saved scripts and settings, reference recordings, and generated audio on your device. You can remove downloaded models in the app and remove queue items and their generated audio. Files you export or share are handled by the destination you choose. Your device's backup settings may also apply to locally stored app data.
SpeakThis does not track you across other apps or websites and does not include advertising or analytics services.
Support correspondence
If you email apps@kazobe.com, Kazobe receives the information you choose to send and uses it to respond. Email providers process messages to deliver and store support correspondence. You can ask Kazobe to delete information you sent to support. Do not send private scripts or recordings unless needed for your question. Kazobe cannot directly delete files held only on your device.
This website
Kazobe hosts these pages on Cloudflare. Loading a page sends technical request information, such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information, and request time, to the hosting provider so it can deliver and protect the website. Cloudflare may use security cookies or challenges depending on its security settings. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
These pages do not include advertising, a contact form, or a website analytics integration. Images and fonts are served with the site. Email links open your email application; no support message is sent until you choose to send it. Visiting the website does not give Kazobe access to your SpeakThis scripts or audio.
Changes
This policy will be updated if SpeakThis data practices change.
